Psalms 103: 10-14 has been before me for several weeks now.. especially the part that reads, “As far as the East is from the West, so far does He remove our transgressions from us.” Something about that verse seemed so prophetic of Jesus, then it hit me.. It WAS prophetic of Jesus dying on the cross for us as our Sacrifice. The verses in Psalm 103 read:, “He does not deal with us according to our sins; nor requite us according to our iniquities. For as the Heavens are high above the earth, so great is His steadfast love toward those who fear Him; as far as the east is from the west, so far does He remove our transgressions from us. As a father pities His children, so the Lord pities those who fear Him for He knows our frame; He remembers that we are dust.”
First of all, Jesus was nailed onto the cross and they lifted the cross up so that His head faced the Heavens and His feet faced the earth. One arm was nailed and stretched out on the cross toward the East and His other arm was stretched out on the cross and nailed toward the West- As though in an embrace of love for all mankind.
The Lord’s head faced the Heavens and Psalms 103 reads, “For as the Heavens are high above the earth, so great is His steadfast love toward those who fear Him. His feet were toward the Earth.. where the Dust of the Earth is and where mankind Who is dust dwells: “the Lord pities those who fear Him for He knows our frame; He remembers that we are dust.”
Our Exiled King, who died as our Savior so that He could become our King died in such a way that He was our Bridge that connects us with the Father in Heaven.. His feet, facing the earth where we dwell, His head facing the Heavens where He came from and where His Father dwells, and His arms both outstretched from the East to the West in an Embrace of the most unselfish love imaginable.. to save us because He first loved us before we loved Him.
I asked our Lord if He would give me something of His input on this revelation He gave me., and I so after praying to Him, I blindly opened “He and I” and came to the following:
“….Love, Itself, holding out My arms to you. Nothing ever makes Me lose sight of My children on earth.. the entire Cosmos is cradled in Me. I am this second of time and I am Eternity. I Am the lavishness of love, the One Who calls so that you may come without fear and throw yourself upon My heart.”♥
